YANNIS SPANOPOULOS

Special Advisor - Investment Banking and Capital Markets

Yannis is a Vice President at J.P. Morgan. He is part of the UK Investment Banking Team, where he advises Boards and Senior Executives of FTSE 100 and 250 companies in various corporate finance related matters. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Yannis spent 4 years at Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banker and 3 years at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) as part of the Strategy and M&A Team. Yannis supports DSQ Associates through ad-hoc advice on valuations, capital raising, market sizing / client positioning, equity story refinement and investor outreach.

Born and raised in Greece, he holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics and an MSc in Management from London Business School.

A former professional cyclist and world championship medallist, he is passionate about nutrition, sports and travelling.

ANTONIS SPANOPOULOS

Lawyer – Financial Law & Regulation

Antonis is a qualified EU lawyer (Greece) and a member of the Athens Bar Association. He specialises in financial law and regulation, with a strong academic and professional focus on capital markets, financial regulation and financial crime.

He is currently completing a Master of Laws (LLM) in Financial Law and Regulation at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). His academic training covers areas such as international financial law and regulation, European capital markets law, financial crime, international trade law, as well as digital data privacy, security law and cyberlaw. His dissertation, titled “From Innovation to Instability: Revisiting Securitization and Credit Ratings in the Shadow of the Global Financial Crisis”, was awarded a distinction.

Antonis holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is particularly interested in the intersection of finance, regulation and emerging legal challenges in global markets.
